Important installation guidelines

  • When using a self-made curb, the skylight must not come into contact with the roof covering.
  • The skylight must have sufficient clearance all around and may not touch the roofing membrane.
  • Corners of the curb must be rounded.
  • Outer curb dimension = daylight size + 10 cm (minimum) up to daylight size + 12 cm (maximum, including roof covering).
  • The curb must project at least 15 cm above the roof surface.
  • The curb top must have a smooth and flat upper flange.
